Benapole land port activities resume after 6-day

BENAPOLE (JESSORE): Export and import activities between Bangladesh and India through Benapole land port in Jessore district resumed on Thursday (October 13) after six days of Durga Puja and Ashura vacations.

Imported goods-laden trucks started entering Benapole from India around 8:45am.

Assistant customs officer (custom cargo branch) of Benapole check post Nadim Ahmed told Banglanews that official activities in every branch of customs house has resumed.

At least 15 trucks entered Benapole port till 10:00am, he added.

Benapole land port deputy director (traffic) Abdul Aziz told Banglanews that they have asked persons concerned to unload the imported goods swiftly.
