DHAKA: The two bourses of the country – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices in the early hours on Tuesday (October 18), the third trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 14.90 points or 0.31 percent to stand at 4707.85 points at 12:30 pm.
Trade deals stood at 56,845 with a transaction over Tk 2622.36 million. Of the issues traded, 177 advanced, 80 declined and 59 remained unchanged.
Titas Gas Transmission and distribution Company Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 101.88 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also following the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, acquired over 40.28 points to stand at 8797.79 points at 12:29 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 123 gained, 48 declined and 38 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 136.91 million.
