DHAKA: Country’s two bourses saw rise of share price indices amid choppy trading on Monday (October 24), the second session of trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 0.70 points or 0.01 percent to stand at 4693.70 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 130,592 with transaction at Tk 6448.86 million. Of the issues traded, 118 advanced, 163 declined and 43 remained unchanged.
Fortune Shoes Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 363.02 million having changed hands.
Other toppers of the market were Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited, MJL Bangladesh Limited, KDS Accessories Limited, IT Consultants Limited, Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited, United Power Generation & Distribution Company Ltd., The ACME Laboratories Limited, Grameenphone Ltd. and Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, gaining over 1.84 points to stand at 8770.03.
Of the issues traded here, 83 gained, 138 declined and 33 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 369.84 million.
