DHAKA: The two bourses of the country – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing loss in share price indices in the early hours on Tuesday (October 25), the third trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 5.11 points or 0.10 percent to stand at 4688.58 points at 13:04 pm.
Trade deals stood at 85,213 with a transaction over Tk 3684.24 million. Of the issues traded, 124 advanced, 141 declined and 54 remained unchanged.
Doreen Power Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 353.27 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also following the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 1.06 points to stand at 8768.96 points at 13:00 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 92 gained, 110 declined and 26 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 187.30 million.
