DHAKA: The two bourses of the country – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing loss in share price indices in the early hours on Wednesday (October 26), the fourth trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 32.14 points or 0.68 percent to stand at 4649.72 points at 13:08 pm.
Trade deals stood at 81,303 with a transaction over Tk 3574.72 million. Of the issues traded, 60 advanced, 225 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
Doreen Power Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 307.53 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also following the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 57.86 points to stand at 8698.65 points at 13:06 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 44 gained, 159 declined and 22 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 186.42 million.
