DHAKA: The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is witnessing loss in share price indices while the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) is witnessing gain in trading in the early hours on Thursday (October 27), the fifth and final trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of DSE, shed over 0.49 points or 0.01 percent to stand at 4657.70 points at 12:26 pm.
Trade deals stood at 60,292 with a transaction over Tk 2877.10 million. Of the issues traded, 124 advanced, 128 declined and 44 remained unchanged.
Doreen Power Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 163.29 million having changed hands till then.
Meanwhile, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) is witnessing gain, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 27.25 points to stand at 8728.05 points at 12:24 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 84 gained, 79 declined and 24 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 128.75 million.
