DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing loss in share price indices at the opening hours on Sunday (October 30), the first trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 45.70 points or 0.98 percent to stand at 4590.52 points at 12:00pm.
Trade deals stood at 45,250 with transaction at over Tk 1809.54 million. Of the issues traded, 72 advanced, 188 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 206.61 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse lost over 61.58 points to stand at 8613.77 points at 11:57am.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 40 gained, 100 declined and 20 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 209.00 million.
