Sri Lankan airlines opens Dhaka-Colombo direct flight

DHAKA: Sri Lanka’s national flag carrier Sri Lankan Airlines opened direct flight between Dhaka and Colombo on Sunday (October 30).

The airlines will operate flights at 2:30pm (Bangladesh local time) daily from Dhaka and reach Colombo at 5:25pm (Sri Lanka local time).

It will start from Colombo at 7:20am (Sri Lanka local time) and reach Dhaka at 11:05pm (Bangladesh local time).

The Airbus A330 of the airlines will provide 18 seats for Business Class and 252 seats for Economic Class with traditional Lankan hospitality.

Sri Lankan Airlines goes to 100 destinations in 47 countries. Organizers hope that the direct air flights will help Bangladesh passengers connect to the destinations.
