DHAKA: Bashundhara Food & Beverage Industries Ltd, a sister concern of Bashundhara Group, launched ‘Bashundhara Brown Atta’ a product full of gluten-rich natural flavor flour, for its health conscious consumers.
The formal announcement was made about the marketing of the product at a program in Bashundhara Industrialist Headquarters-2 on Monday afternoon (October 31).
Dainik Kaler Kantho editor Imdadul Haq Milon, Bashundhara Group’s advisor Major General (retd) Mahbub Haider Khan, advisor (press and media) Mohammad Abu Tayeb, sales and marketing head Rashedul Ahsan Biman and HOO captain Ruhul Amin also attended the event.
Speakers said the gluten-rich Bashundhara Brown Atta is made by formula used in developed countries.
It will prevent ‘Celiac’ disease and also reduce risk of colon cancer and diabetes, they added.
Besides, this anti-oxidant and multi vitamin-rich flour will help reduce vitamin deficiency.
They also said the preservative-less flour will remain fresh for a long time as it will be packaged in air-tight (LLDPE) packets.
Retail price of the product is Tk 46, they added.
