DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing gain in share price indices in the opening hours on Tuesday (November 1), the third trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 4.70 points or 0.12 percent to stand at 4596.89 points at 12:16 pm.
Trade deals stood at 42,605 with transaction at over Tk 1730.63 million. Of the issues traded, 130 advanced, 108 declined and 55 remained unchanged.
Quasem Drycells Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 112.79 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the suit as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse gained over 7.91 points to stand at 8613.01 points at 12:12 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 80 gained, 59 declined and 31 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 110.45 million.
