DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing gain in share price indices in the opening hours on Wednesday (November 2), the fourth trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 31.82 points or 0.69 percent to stand at 4628.68 points at 12:22 pm.
Trade deals stood at 48,662 with transaction at over Tk 2114.34 million. Of the issues traded, 208 advanced, 58 declined and 42 remained unchanged.
BRAC Bank topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 174.24 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the suit as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse gained over 30.54 points to stand at 8638.60 points at 12:21 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 120 gained, 43 declined and 26 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 136.11 million.
