DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing gain in share price indices in the opening hours on Thursday (November 3), the final trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 26.14 points or 0.56 percent to stand at 4659.33 points at 12:10 pm.
Trade deals stood at 48,273 with transaction at over Tk 2156.38 million. Of the issues traded, 164 advanced, 86 declined and 55 remained unchanged.
Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 198.06 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the suit as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse gained over 37.47 points to stand at 8693.07 points at 12:09 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 98 gained, 47 declined and 37 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 118.68 million.
