DHAKA: The benchmark indices of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed loss while Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw gain on Sunday (November 06), the first trading session of week.
 
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, lost over 0.48 points and 0.01 percent to stand at 4672.39 at the end of day’s exchange.

Trade deals stood at 111,540 with transaction at Tk 4686.87 million.

Of the issues traded, 116 advanced, 158 declined and 50 remained unchanged.

The Confidence Cement Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 310.26 million having changed hands on the day.

Other toppers of the market were Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited, MJL Bangladesh Limited, BRAC Bank Ltd., Argon Denims Limited, Apex Footwear Limited., Navana CNG Limited, The Peninsula Chittagong Limited, Shasha Denims Limited and Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd.

The prime index of Chittagong stocks CSCX reached to 8732.08 by gaining over 7.62 points on the day.

Out of the issues traded, 106 gained, 96 declined and 34 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 272.15 million.
