DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing loss in share price indices at the opening hours on Sunday (November 13), the first trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 4.59 points or 0.09 percent to stand at 4672.54 points at 11:04pm.
Trade deals stood at 21,488 with transaction at over Tk 1073.14 million. Of the issues traded, 75 advanced, 91 declined and 60 remained unchanged.
MJL Bangladesh Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 128.43 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse lost over 10.44 points to stand at 8742.53 points at 11:00pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 34 gained, 34 declined and 17 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 35.72 million.
