DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing loss in share price indices at the opening hours on Monday (November 14), the second trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 25.90 points or 0.55 percent to stand at 4641.29 points at 12:22 pm.
Trade deals stood at 66,795 with transaction at over Tk 3153.04 million. Of the issues traded, 59 advanced, 186 declined and 63 remained unchanged.
Bangladesh Building Systems Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 264.99 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse lost over 39.67 points to stand at 8711.10 points at 12:21 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 41 gained, 122 declined and 36 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 174.67 million.
