Bourses see up at opening

DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing gain in share price indices at the opening hours on Tuesday (November 15), the third trading session of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 27.06 points or 0.58 percent to stand at 4672.05 points at 12:02 pm.

Trade deals stood at 57,740 with transaction at over Tk 2750.40 million. Of the issues traded, 172 advanced, 90 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

Square Pharmaceuticals Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 195.92 million having changed hands till then.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse gained over 33.77 points to stand at 8735.59 points at 12:00 pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 95 gained, 55 declined and 24 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 121.62 million.
