DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- are witnessing gain in share price indices at the opening hours on Thursday (November 17), the fifth and final trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 29.75 points or 0.63 percent to stand at 4706.51 points at 12:26 pm.
Trade deals stood at 65,595 with the transaction at over Tk 3253.89 million. Of the issues traded, 143 advanced, 80 declined and 55 remained unchanged.
AB Bank topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 220.77 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), also followed the trend as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse gained over 48.02 points to stand at 8807.40 points at 12:24 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 99 gained, 61 declined and 26 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 198.39 million.
