DHAKA: Bangladeshi gold merchants have lessened the price of gold by around Tk 991 per bhori (11.664 grams).
Gold in the local market will be sold at Tk 45,898 per bhori of 22-carat from Monday (November 21) which was Tk 46,889 till Sunday.
Bangladesh Jewellers’ Samity (BJS) general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala issued a press release in this regard on Sunday (November 20).
In the release, BJS said that the newly fixed prices of different carats of gold are: a bhori of 21-carat gold is Tk 43,856, 18-carat Tk 37,908, and the traditional gold Tk 25,019.
