DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices in the opening hour on Tuesday (November 22), on the third day of the trade week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 30.19 points or 0.63 percent to stand at 4751.59 points at 11:06 am.
Trade deals stood at 23,813 with transaction over Tk 1098.43 million. Of the issues traded, 180 advanced, 48 declined and 38 remained unchanged.
The AB Bank Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 78.26 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gain over 43.81 points to stand at 8893.07 points till 11:03 am.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 70 gained, 24 declined and 17 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 48.33 milion.
