DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices in the opening hour on Wednesday (November 30).
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 11.38 points or 0.23 percent to stand at 4804.69 points at 11:13am.
Trade deals stood at 26,584 with a transaction over Tk 1180.35 million. Of the issues traded, 141 advanced, 84 declined and 52 remained unchanged.
The Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 105.61 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gain over 12.34 points to stand at 8999.82 points till 11:09pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 50 gained, 44 declined and 26 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 61.24 million.
