DHAKA: Burger King, a US-based second-largest quick service hamburger chain in the world opens its first outlet in city on Friday (December 9).
US ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat inaugurated the outlet in city’s Banani area.
The flame-grilled ‘whopper’ sandwich, a signature Burger King product, will be a key menu attraction for local patrons.
It is world famous as a quick service restaurant (QSR) and now they are joining fast-food giants such as KFC and A&W, which have already made their footprint into the country.
Burger King started their journey in the United States in 1953. Currently, they have 12,000 outlets in 61 countries of the world.
