DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed gain in share price indices on Wednesday (December 28), the fourth trading session of the week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 11.17 points or 0.22 percent to stand at 5027.91 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 169,739 with transaction over Tk 9382.82 million. Of the issues traded, 165 advanced, 129 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
Ifad Autos topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 262.37 million having changed hands on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, acquired over 7.87 points to stand at 9368.02 points on the day.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 129 gained, 102 declined and 32 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 611.55 million.
