Post e-commerce service launched

DHAKA: Bangladesh Postal Division introduced “Post e-commerce service” which will be used to deliver the e-commerce parcels of e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) member organizations.  

Post and Telecommunications Division state minister Tarana Halim inaugurated the service at GPO Building in city on Thursday (December 29).

Earlier, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh Postal Service and e-CAB in this regards.

As a pilot project, the letters and parcels will be collected form 11 post offices and will be delivered through Tejgaon Center.

Tarana Halim said this service will become a better source of income following the example of postal services of other countries.
