Service Engine’s Mohiuddin wins National Export Gold Trophy

DHAKA: Chairman and Co-founder of Service Engine BPO A.S.M. Mohiuddin Monem won the National Export Gold Trophy for its contribution to the country’s export trade in Computer software.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the trophies and certificates to award winners at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Sunday (January 1).

Bangladesh government has provided number of enterprises with the National Export Trophy for 2013-14 fiscals in recognition of their respective contribution to the country’s export trade.

The trophies were given in three categories – gold, silver and bronze, said a press release.

Gold trophy winner Service engine is a premier business process outsourcing company with offshore delivery center in Dhaka.

They specialize in bank office processing, digital advertising operations, web and software development, data aggregation and analysis, and quality assurance and testing in digital publishing, financial and risk, and compliance sector, among many countries.

Mohiuddin Monem also holds the titles of CIP (Commercially Important Person) consecutively for three years in a row.

He is the Consul of Czech Republic in Bangladesh and also a special panelist on the advisory board to Bangladesh government.

He is also the Deputy Managing Director of Abdul Monem Group and member of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS).

There were several important export oriented sectors participating in the event.
