DHAKA: The World Bank (WB) has projected 6.8 percent Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for Bangladesh in the fiscal year 2016-17.
Finance and Planning ministers, however, earlier hoped that the GDP will amplify to 7.2 percent in this fiscal year.
WB even disappointed Bangladesh’s estimated budget.
Mentioning the report of Global Economic Prospectus Mehrin A Mahbub, public relation officer of World Bank, told the matter to Banglanews.
