DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Sunday (January 29) declared the monetary policy for the second half of the fiscal year 2016-17 with the view to attaining a GDP growth rate of 7.2 percent.

The central bank of the country adopted the new policy focusing on the growth rate of the domestic loan, including the personal loan, of 16.5 percent.

BB Governor Fazle Kabir declared the monetary policy at Bank’s conference hall in the morning.
