DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed loss in share price indices on Monday (February 27), the second day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 14.86 points or 0.26 percent to stand at 5620.24 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 163,651 with the transaction over Tk 10202.94 million. Of the issues traded, 102 advanced, 175 declined and 50 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 483.60 million having changed hands on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 29.08 points to stand at 10545.76 points on the day.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 69 gained, 151 declined and 38 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 594.82 million.
