DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Monday (March 6), the second day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 13.77 points or 0.24 percent to stand at 5586.84 points at 12:01 pm.
Trade deals stood at 50,114 with the transaction over Tk 3520.04 million. Of the issues traded, 182 advanced, 73 declined and 48 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 232.47 million having changed hands till filing the report.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 33.30 points to stand at 10488.70 points at 12:01 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 114 gained, 41 declined and 25 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 165.55 million.
