DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –witnessing gain in share price indices on Monday (March 6), the second day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 15.75 points or 0.28 percent to stand at 5588.83 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 137,274 with the transaction over Tk 9610.82 million. Of the issues traded, 172 advanced, 104 declined and 51 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 673.98 million having changed hands on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 39.46 points to stand at 10494.86 points.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 133 gained, 85 declined and 32 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 547.10 million.
