DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Tuesday (March 7), the third day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 36.34 points or 0.65 percent to stand at 5625.18 points at 11:29 am.
Trade deals stood at 41,599 with the transaction over Tk 3067.15 million. Of the issues traded, 205 advanced, 47 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 220.48 million having changed hands till filing the report.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 48.45 points to stand at 10543.32 points at 11:25 am.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 98 gained, 21 declined and 19 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 161.83 million.
