DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –witnessed gain in share price indices on Tuesday (March 7), the third day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 33.65 points or 0.60 percent to stand at 5622.49 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 157,366 with the transaction over Tk 11275.64 million. Of the issues traded, 162 advanced, 119 declined and 49 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 572.06 million having changed hands on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 62.02 points to stand at 10556.88 points.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 123 gained, 94 declined and 34 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 629.54 million.
