DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Tuesday (March 14), the third day of the trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 18.94 points or 0.33 percent to stand at 5678.66 points at 1:11 pm.

Trade deals stood at 87,623 with the transaction over Tk 5769.27 million. Of the issues traded, 134 advanced, 127 declined and 50 remained unchanged.

Active Fine Chemicals Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 228.69 million having changed hands till filing the report.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 37.70 points to stand at 10676.92 points at 1:10 pm.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 106 gained, 100 declined and 26 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 323.89 million.
