DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Wednesday (March 15), the fourth day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 4.27 points or 0.07 percent to stand at 5685.53 points at 12:59 pm.
Trade deals stood at 82,866 with the transaction over Tk 5637.29 million. Of the issues traded, 135 advanced, 128 declined and 60 remained unchanged.
National Bank Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 199.87 million having changed hands till filing the report.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 3.84 points to stand at 10679.02 points at 12:58 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 97 gained, 86 declined and 38 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 327.05 million.
