DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed gain in share price indices on Wednesday (March 15), the fourth day of the trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 3.05 points or 0.05 percent to stand at 5684.31 points at the end of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 146,498 with the transaction over Tk 9725.26 million. Of the issues traded, 126 advanced, 167 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 295.74 million having changed hands on the day.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 11.71 points to stand at 10686.88 points.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 99 gained, 116 declined and 39 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 575.42 million.
