DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Tuesday (March 28), the third day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 37.67 points or 0.66 percent to stand at 5735.60 points at 12:19 pm.
Trade deals stood at 54,407 with the transaction over Tk 3864.89 million. Of the issues traded, 140 advanced, 122 declined and 53 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 241.20 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 68.95 points to stand at 10780.12 points at 12:16 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 106 gained, 78 declined and 19 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 261.46 million.
