DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Thursday (March 30), the final day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 7.00 points or 0.12 percent to stand at 5740.25 points at 11:53 am.
Trade deals stood at 37,689 with the transaction over Tk 2536.72 million. Of the issues traded, 127 advanced, 104 declined and 58 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 204.48 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 19.87 points to stand at 10794.52 points at 11:49 am.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 77 gained, 68 declined and 27 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 131.00 million.
