DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing gain in share price indices on Monday (April 3), the second session of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 12.28 points or 0.21 percent to stand at 5703.65 points at 12:06 pm.
Trade deals stood at 53,483 with the transaction over Tk 3403.83 million. Of the issues traded, 150 advanced, 110 declined and 47 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 200.71 million having changed hands till then.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 34.73 points to stand at 10723.48 points at 11:58 am.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 88 gained, 66 declined and 29 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 213.53 million.
