DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed loss in share price indices at the opening hours on Monday (April 10), the second session of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 20.32 points or 0.35 percent to stand at 5680.46 points at 12:24 pm.
Trade deals stood at 52,974 with the transaction over Tk 3125.53 million. Of the issues traded, 96 advanced, 159 declined and 51 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 210.19 million having changed till filing the report.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lose over 50.99 points to stand at 10668.35 points at 12:16 pm.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 56 gained, 122 declined and 20 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 144.93 million.
