DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) –witnessed gain in share price indices on Monday (April 17), the second session of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 3.29 points or 0.05 percent to stand at 5596.12 points at the end of day’s trading
Trade deals stood at 118,703 with the transaction over Tk 7608.21 million. Of the issues traded, 123 advanced, 163 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 584.83 million having changed on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 9.00 points to stand at 10510.56 points.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 90 gained, 120 declined and 28 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 522.50 million.
