DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – are witnessing mixed trends in share price indices in the opening hours on Monday (April 24), the second session of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 1.15 points or 0.02 percent to stand at 5439.40 points at 11:58 am.
Trade deals stood at 34,573 with the transaction over Tk 2009.00 million. Of the issues traded, 113 advanced, 129 declined and 58 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 181.62 million having changed till filing the report.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), however, was witnessing negative trend, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, shed over 19.94 points to stand at 10194.71 points at 11:55 am.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 58 gained, 87 declined and 28 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 97.74 million.
