DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed loss in share price indices on Monday (April 24), the second session of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 2.61 points or 0.04 percent to stand at 5435.63 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 88,072 with the transaction over Tk 4999.31 million. Of the issues traded, 110 advanced, 173 declined and 41 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 279.40 million having changed on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 14.29 points to stand at 10200.36 points.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 69 gained, 141 declined and 30 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 336.90 million.
