DHAKA: The two bourses of the country -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed gain in share price indices on Thursday (April 27), the final session of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), acquired over 15.04 points or 0.30 percent to stand at 5534.42 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 117,198 with the transaction over Tk 6988.45 million. Of the issues traded, 173 advanced, 110 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
LankaBangla Finance Ltd. topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 334.07 million having changed on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gained over 45.80 points to stand at 10407.11 points.
Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 136 gained, 85 declined and 21 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 391.77 million.
