DHAKA: Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed loss in share price indices while Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed gain in share price indices on Monday (May 8), the second day of the trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 3.94 points or 0.07124 percent to stand at 5529.50 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 1,10,027 with the transaction over Tk 6324.753 million. Of the issues traded, 144 advanced, 133 declined and 45 remained unchanged.
AGRODENIM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 202.8770 million having changed on the day.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the suit, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, gain over 6.0543 points to stand at 10403.8195 points.
Of the 243 issues traded in the port city share market, 110 gained, 100 declined and 33 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 331.62 million.
