DHAKA: The budget session for this year, which is also the 16th session of the 10th Parliament, will begin on May 30.

This will be fourth budget session of the current Parliament and it will begin at 11:00 am on the day.

President Moahmmad Abdul Hamid on Sunday (May 14) convened the session exercising his power bestowed upon him by article 72 (1) of the Constitution.

Earlier, the 15th session of the 10th Parliament ended on May 8

Finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will place the budget proposal for 2017-18 fiscal in the Parliament on June 1.
