Regent Airways to fly on Saudi’s Dammam sky

DHAKA: Regent Airways, the renowned airlines of Bangladesh, has announced that they have spread the wings on the sky of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Regent Airways has will start its journey from Dammam from February 22.

The Regent Airways informed the matter through a press release signed by its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Hanif Zakaria issued on Saturday (January 27).

Saudi Arabia’s Dammam is the third biggest commercial city of Saudi Arabia.

Dhaka–Dammam-Dhaka route is the 8th international and 3rd Gulf route of Regent Airways. The newly added aircraft Boeing 737-800 with 176 seats will be operated on this route. There are 8 business and 168 economy class seats in the aircraft.

The flight will be operated four days a week on every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday in Dhaka-Dammam-Dhaka route. The flight will depart from Dhaka at 9:15 pm and reach Dammam at 12:50 am. It will leave Dammam at 1:50 am and reach Dhaka at 9:45 am. All departure and arrivals are in local time. Regent Airways will operate daily flight to Dammam from next June.

Fares start from Taka 20,838 for one way and Taka 53,395 for return inclusive of all taxes on the Dhaka to Dammam route and Saudi Riyal 700 and return Saudi Riyal 1422 on Dammam to Dhaka route, the baggage allowance from Dhaka is 20 Kgs while from Dammam to Dhaka is 45 Kgs.

Addition to this Regent Airways is offering bus service between Dammam and the Capital Riyadh (400km distance). The bus will start from Riyadh with the Bangladesh bound passengers at 7:50 pm and reach at Dammam King Fahad International airport at 11:50 pm. On the other hand, the bus will start from Dammam with Riyadh bound Bangladeshi Passengers at 2:50 am and reach at Riyadh at 6:50 am. All departure and arrivals are in local time.

Presently Regent Airways is operating international flights to Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Kolkata, Kathmandu and domestic flights to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, and Saidpur routes operating with Six Boeing and two D8-300 Aircrafts.
