DHAKA: State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) pipeline will be given from May 25-26 this year.

He also said industries and factories of the country will be connected with LNG through the pipeline. Thus, it will create more employment, he hoped.

The State Minister as a special guest was addressing a Chevron-sponsored seminar held in a city hotel on Wednesday (April 25).

Nasrul Hamid said “We need skilled, dedicated staff to build a developed country. Such dedicated young staff, whose leadership would reflect patriotism and work ethics, will build Bangladesh of future.”

Uttoron is a three-year skill development program aimed at a better life, which started from August of 2016. The program was launched to create job opportunities for 1400 people of Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Habiganj districts.

Petrobangla Chairman Abul Mansur Mohammad Fayzullah Chevron President of Bangladesh Kevin Nalyon and Country Director of Swiss Contract of Bangladesh, Anirvan Bhaumik spoke at the function among others.
