DHAKA: State Minister for Labor and Employment Mujibul Haque Chunnu asked garment industry owners to pay Eid bonus to their workers by August 16.

Mujibul Haque Chunnu came up with the directive in a meeting of Crisis Management Core Committee at the secretariat on Thursday (August 9).

Besides, the minister also asked the owners to pay partial salary of the workers of current month, given the discussion with them as per scale, by August 19.
