DHAKA: Economic Relations Department (ERD), Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) and the Ministry of Agriculture have topped the list for ensuring maximum use of e-filing among all the government offices in the month of September.
E-filing is a digital means of using technology to ease the process of government office works. The government encourages the ministries and all other subordinate divisions to take e-filing support, in a bid to solve everything in online.
The department works include issuing bills and salary, making budget and sending letters etc.
However, for the month of September, ERD, IMED and Ministry of Agriculture have become first under first, second and third categories respectively.
IMED is a section of the Ministry of Planning.
A total of 58 ministries and departments have been counted under the three categories, in this regard.
However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Law & Justice Department didn’t solve a single file using e-filing in the last month, said an update.
