DHAKA: A two-day summit on entrepreneurship was held on the campus of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) at Farmgate in Dhaka recently.
UAP Vice Chancellor National Prof Jamilur Reza Chowdhury, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority Executive Chairman Kazi M Aminul Islam, IPDC Finance Ltd Managing Director Mominul Islam Nabin, Access to Information (a2i) Project Director Mostafizur Rahman, UAP Students’ welfare body Director Air Commodore (retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Chowdhury and BDOSN Secretary General Munir Hasan attended the launching ceremony.
Four workshop and eleven sessions were arranged in the summit.
Presence of visitors and participants made the occasion vibrant as thirty young entrepreneurs exhibited their product services.
Three of the workshops, titled ‘Leadership Workshop’, ‘Growth Hacker Conference’ and ‘Finding the Entrepreneurial Ability of the Students’ were held on the concluding day on Saturday (Dec 8).
Golam Samdani, Alamzeb Farjad Ahmed, Khaled Saifullah, Anhar Ahmed Chowdhury, Kazi M Morshed and Mahmudul Hasan were among the discussants.
Two of the sessions, titled ‘SME Ahead’ and ‘Digital Advertisement’, were held at the noon. Hamid H Khan, Rezwan D Shams, Farzana Khan, Md Humayun Kabir, Monir Hossain, Jabed Sultan and Mirza MD Ilias, among others, held discussion.
Two others sessions, addressed by Al Amin Kabir and Golam Muntasir, were held on Facebook and affiliate marketing.
Computer Service Ltd Managing Director Mamluk Sabir Ahmed, Sohoz.com Managing Director Maliha Qadir, Kazi IT Ltd CEO Mike Kazi, Augmedix Country Director Rashed Mujib Noman and Amber IT Ltd CEO Aminul Hakim attended the concluding program. Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) Secretary General Munir Hasan moderated the program.
