DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank announced holiday for all scheduled banks on December 30-the election day.
A notification, after issuing from Central Bank’s concerned division, was sent to Chief Executive Officers of all the scheduled banks on Monday (December 24).
The decision was taken to facilitate voting as well as give the staff to cast their votes.
The 11th parliamentary election is slated for December 30.
